September 13, 2006 - Kawasaki Shipbuilding
Corporation today delivered the LNG Dream
to Lloyds TSB Equipment Leasing (No. 7) Limited
today. The LNG carrier is identified as Kawasaki
Hull No. 1545.
The LNG Dream is scheduled to transport LNG
from western Australia for Osaka Gas Co.,
Ltd. It will be operated by NYK Bulkship (Europe)
Ltd., a company in the Nippon Yusen Kaisha
(NYK Line) group.
The vessel, which can hold a total of 145,254
m3 of LNG, has four individual Moss spherical
tanks that employ Kawasaki’s propriety panel
system. The system enables ultra-efficient
thermal insulation and achieves a boil-off
rate of 0.15 percent per day. |
